In the year 2001, the first company of the Group was formed, namely Quality Foods and Service specialising in ship chandelling and trading FMCG products and commodities. The Group further strengthened its presence in the field of food supply and distribution in Qatar and then moved into the retail sector owning a series of hypermarkets, supermarkets and shopping malls under the brand name “Quality”, becoming a household name in the country.
